Little Red Barn was at our Live Nativity scene and they were awesome! The animals were very well behaved and patient with the little childen.
All the animals were great, but the best was the 1 week old goat. |

Our family read aloud book for the summer was BABE – The Gallant Pig by Dick King Smith. In an attempt to have a fun celebration with the families who read the book aloud at home, I really wanted to have a live pig. So, I asked around and landed on Little Red Barn Mobile Petting Farm. It was perfect. First, the owner Catherine Horton, shows up exactly when she says she will (always a good sign) and then the way she places her 9 different animal petting stations on the lawn outside the library is simply beautiful. The crowd loved it and she was beyond professional. Because passer-by-ers came as well and folks were still enjoying the animals when it was time for her to hit the road . . . Catherine stayed on for more than 40 minutes. (Which I know can’t always happen but it was sure a treat last night!) We had perfect weather and a fun time was had by all.
The price was exceptional and includes 9 varieties of animals, set up, clean up (for the animals and the kids – with hand sanitizer for all) and absolutely no work on my part. I just sat back and enjoyed the show. At this point in the summer – sitting back and watching is sure welcomed. |

Thank you SO much for a beautiful party for Hanna on Saturday! She had so much fun and I have gotten so many comments on how much all of the kids enjoyed the animals! I couldn't have imagined how much fun it would be. This will definitely be a birthday that she will never forget. Thanks again. |

Thank you for all you did with the animals at Nea's birthday party Saturday. It could not have been any better. Nea said "Oh, Mommy it was the best birthday party in the whole world". And to us it was. Nea has been with me since she was four days old, but was officially adopted in July of 2006 so this was the first real birthday for us together without the fear of being separated. Thanks again for giving us wonderful memories! |
